This weeks fishing report is all about Snapper, the Snapper bite is on fire. Just because you can only keep Red Snapper on the weekends ( Fri - Sunday ) doesn’t mean you can’t venture into the gulf and not fill the box with Giant Mangrove Snapper and many other great species. This year is one of the best years I’ve seen for the mangroves, they are thick if you know how to find them. This type of fishing is nonstop action so it would be great for families as well. The whole goal is to keep those kiddos busy so parents can relax, I’m very patient with kids and that’s one reason you should come with Nola sight fishing and plan your summer getaway now! We have you covered with top notch lodging and beautiful clean boats to get you on the water today!
The inshore is still going strong with a solid redfish bite, plenty of fish on the outer edges and clean ponds. I started this whole business on the foundation of sight fishing so don’t forget we still do this! Up to two anglers can experience an unbelievable bite like no other in our crystal clear ponds! Until next week I wish y’all the best and tight lines! Capt. Justin Collison Hopedale, Delacroix, Lake Pontchartrain Fishing Charters
